Scott Lundberg, CFP®, MBA, RICP®

As a Certified Financial Planner with Trinitas Planning Group, Scott provides personal financial planning services for families and small business owners. His focus on education and advanced, holistic financial planning, is the foundation of his financial planning practice. His mission is to help his clients focus on financial goals through a personal relationship based on individualized, knowledgeable advice. His strong beliefs in continued growth and education has also led him to be an Instructor of Risk Management and Insurance within Oakland University’s CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER program.

Scott is passionate about serving others and this passion shines through in everything that he does. Not only does he enjoy helping clients explore new surroundings, such as investment opportunities, but he also likes exploring himself. He caught the travel bug early in his life with the Boy Scouts and family trips and uses this curious nature to travel with his own family as much as he can.

Scott holds a B.A. from Michigan State University and an MBA from Wayne State University. He holds his Series 7, 66 securities registrations through LPL Financial and is also state licensed for life, health insurance and annuities. He has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER practitioner certification and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designations. Scott is proud of his role as an officer and past President of the Detroit Chapter of the Society of Financial Services Professionals (FSP). He is also actively involved in both the Michigan State University and Wayne State University Alumni Associations.

Although he is highly-qualified as a planner, he still makes time to be outdoors and explore new places with his wife, Cindy, and their young son and daughter. He thinks that if he wasn’t a financial planner, he would make a great adventure travel tour guide. It’s no surprise, then, that he loves traveling, running, boating and other outdoor recreational activities.
